Twitter’s PR team on Friday announced that the new Twitter photo sharing-service is currently live for employees and will begin rolling out to users earlier than originally planned.
The tweet from @twitterglobalpr reads:
Currently, Twitter employees can upload #photos to Twitter.com. We’ll start slowly rolling this out to users next week.
When Twitter announced the new photo service on Wednesday, the company said it would update the site and roll out updates over the next few weeks.
Having Twitter employees using the service now and pushing out the service next week suggests that the new functions are working well and are ready to launch.
